  • 500g poppy flowers
  • 500 gr of sugar
  • 175cl of water


Start by macerating the flowers in 50 cl of boiling water for 24 hours. Filter this mixture and, next to it, dissolve the sugar in another 125ml of boiling water. You will add this mixture to the strained liquid from the poppies. Once cooled, all you have to do is find a nice bottle to hold your delicious syrup.

To dream of Provence, nothing like a chicken with lavender. For four people :

  • Four chicken breasts
  • 150cl chicken broth
  • Two tablespoons of honey
  • One lemon: juice and zest
  • One tablespoon of dried lavender flowers


Marinate the chicken breasts for 30 minutes with all the ingredients. Salt, pepper and brown the chicken with the oil in a casserole dish for 45 minutes, and turn the chicken often or in the oven at 200°C. Serve with fried potatoes.
