Spray: Hydration For Frizzy And Curly Hair

How To Moisturize Frizzy And Curly Hair?

Frizzy and curly hair is naturally very dry; regular hydration is important. But for that, you have to know how to hydrate them. Do you prefer to prepare your moisturizing lotion yourself? Here is a homemade method for your routine. How do you prepare your moisturizing cream, choose ingredients, and use it?

How To Prepare Your Moisturizing Lotion With Vaporizer/Vaporizer?

You will need the following:

  • A water spray bottle
  • Mineral water
  • Vegetable oil(s)
  • Essential oil (optional)
  • Water spray

The spray water vaporizer is at least 100 ml minimum. Depending on the vaporizers, you can choose the jet type (from the narrowest to the widest) to spray on your hair by turning the wheel that vaporizes the water. What is preferable according to your care, hair, or hairstyle? Choose a lightweight vaporizer that’s not too heavy for more malleability.

Water

Water is essential to help hydrate hair. In any moisturizing hair product, water should be among the components at the top of the list. The choice of mineral water is preferable; tap water can be more or less calcareous depending on where you live. Mineral water is softer, and tap water is harder. Limescale on the hair would have the desired opposite effect.

Vegetable Oil (Pure)

Vegetable oil is the second element for the preparation of your lotion. Water alone is not enough; vegetable oil will fix the water on the hair. The choice of oil is multiple; vegetable oils have various properties. It’s up to you to choose the oil depending on what you are looking for for your hair. Prefer a nourishing, restorative, or/and fortifying oil.

Among the nourishing vegetable oils:

  • Olive oil
  • Avocado oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Shea oil

Restorative or fortifying oils:

  • Coconut oil
  • Wheat germ oil
  • Castor oil/carapate (JBCO)
  • You also have jojoba oil, macadamia…

Essential Oil

It’s optional; the essential oil will strengthen. As a reminder, the essential oil is not soluble in water; you must have a dispersant (without alcohol) to disperse the essential oil in the water.

The Preparation

Fill your vaporizer with mineral water up to 3/4 of the bottle, and add the equivalent of three tablespoons of vegetable oil of your choice between 1 to 3 different oils maximum (for one tablespoon of each oil or two tablespoons of a nourishing oil and spoon of a fortifying oil for example).

Shake, it’s ready! Separate your hair into two to three sections, shake the spray to mix the water and the oil at a certain distance from your hair, spray on the section choosing the widest jet that will distribute the lotion evenly and avoid overwriting the hair, the hair should be damp. Then massage the entire length of hair, not forgetting the ends, and seal in the moisture. Shake the vape before each vape.

The quantity of your lotion will be made according to your hair, and it is optional to fill the vaporizer if the hair is short or if the use is not frequent in the week. The amount of oil and water will be measured according to the hair’s needs. The water will always be in greater quantity than the oil. You can keep the preparation for up to 10 to 12 days maximum.

If you want to keep it longer, add a preservative; otherwise, discard the rest if necessary. Between each preparation, clean the vaporizer with hot soapy water, and remember to disinfect your vaporizer regularly. Moisturize your hair only when you feel the need; it is unnecessary every day. Test every other day if your hair is dry, and moisturize. If they are still flexible, space out the hydration.
